Ever since rocking the cap and gown at the University of Montreal in 2002 and donning a Master's degree in Taxation at HEC Montreal in 2007, my mission has been to help business owners demystify their legal and tax obligations and rock their financial goals. Right out of school, I worked for large law and accounting firms thinking I was going to make a huge difference.  I wanted to be a big deal in the business world.  Hopeful and maybe a little naive, I was quite disappointed with the field of law. Not the job itself but how impersonal, long and stretched out every file felt like.  Most of all, I HATED HOURLY BILLING.  If anyone has worked with me, they know that I can't stand charging by the hour. I prefer knowing what I am signing up for and so does my client which is why I always give a fixed quote whenever I can. 

After having my first child (an adorable and sweet boy named Max in 2010), I decided I was done.  Tired of stuffy corporate vibes, I set out to shake up the legal scene with some serious disruption.  Caught between the allure of dentistry and the captivating world of law, I embarked on a daring path to forge a law firm solely devoted to the esteemed community of dentists and healthcare professionals. (Side note, I really wanted to be an ortho but analytical thinking and negotiating was really my thing so I went with it. I'm happy I did). 

In 2011, Meditax was born with the purpose of offering an interesting fusion of big firm efficiency, top-notch legal services, with a more familiar and family-like approach.

Those who work with me know that I see business through a different lens.  It always starts with getting to know you as a person. Its all about listening to better understand where I can fit in to someone's journey and how I can be of service.  

Having embarked on this exhilarating adventure of facilitating dental practice acquisitions and sales in Quebec, it gives purpose to what I do.  For a seller, they are handing over their baby to someone they barely know. For a buyer, they are signing all kinds of paperwork and borrowing large sums of money in the hopes they can build something meaningful and of-value for their families.  Emotions are running high, feelings of sadness, anxiety, joy, excitement for the future and sometimes, coupled with some serious doubt.  Buying and selling is so much more than a legal file for me. I'm being invited to share in the journey of 2 parties that I am responsible for bringing together. There is nothing more rewarding for me than to know I had a role in changing someone's life for the better.  I love every minute of it and I wish to be a part of more of these dental matchmaking opportunities. Beyond providing an attentive hands-on approach, my deep expertise in ODQ rules and regulations, coupled with an unwavering commitment and passion for my craft, empower me to consistently surpass dentist expectations. I take pride in offering ambitious and innovative solutions that push boundaries and propel dental practices to new heights. It's all about transparency, being organized and having a really structured approach in a selling transaction. 

Driven by a firm belief in dentists' entitlement to top-tier services, I wholeheartedly dedicate myself to finding the right buyer for each dental practice I am entrusted selling while delivering creative solutions that seamlessly align with each person’s needs . As a trusted advisor, I always go above and beyond to ensure the experience is nothing short of extraordinary... and a little brag-worthy.

About me

  • I graduated with a law degree from University of Montreal in 2002. I then completed a masters in Taxation to become a Fiscalist in 2007.

  • I started working in the field of taxation in 2004. I have since worked in many midsize to large law and accounting firms.

  • I founded Meditax in October 2011 to specialize in the healthcare industry. I worked on corporate reorganizations, incorporations and purchase and sale transactions.

  • Over the years, I decided to dedicate myself exclusively to working with dentists in Quebec, preferring to refer out any purely legal work to many of my esteemed colleagues that I have worked with over the years.

  • I have 3 wonderful children that inspire me every day and give me a boost of energy each day. I hope that I can serve as an inspiration to not be afraid to follow your own path and believe that they too can become entrepreneurs if they so choose and not let fear get in the way.
